assembly directions a bit out of order-s hooks should be place on last so they don’t keep falling off while you assemble the rest. once together, it’s comfy.
Doesn’t swing

I was able to place this together on my own without much distress (and take apart/reassemble) – it’s about the right quality for the price…but my major problem is that it doesn’t swing like a standard hammock would. I wanted to have known this before purchasing it — probably would have looked for something different. I’ve never bought a hammock with stand before – maybe they are all like this? At any rate, it is nice for lounging, but it doesn’t really swing back and forth if that’s what you’re looking for.
Very excellent hammock for the money, fantastic customer service

This is a fantastic hammock, considering how small it cost. We were looking for something that would go on an upstairs balcony without taking up the whole place. This fit the bill nicely. Seems like it would work fine for anyone up through the size of a fit adult male. I’m about 6′ 1″ and around 170 lbs, and it works fantastic for me, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone TOO much larger. My wife likes it. It isn’t a traditional rope hammock, of course. But it does give as you lie down on it, so that you feel cocooned in it as you should. Also sways and rocks a bit, thanks to the small suspended chains at either end.
The two end-piece metal dowels were not in the box when it arrived. So I called the customer service number on the instructions. A real person answered straight away, then transferred me immediately to someone who could help me. He was very friendly, and he took my address down, shipped the missing parts immediately, no questions questioned, and a couple of days later I was excellent to go.

While hammock and stand were received extremely promptly, the box had been hurt and taped then place inside an Amazon box. Two parts appeared to be a different shade from the rest of the pieces. Some pieces had scratch marks. Some pieces were not plastic wrapped. Product appeared to have been returned. Actual hammock appeared to be cotton and ripped immediately. Not worth the cheap price.
