Hangs a little low
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
It is inexpensive and sturdy enough for two people to lay on with out problem. The only issue I have is it is very difficult to get the tie offs tight enough to avoid scraping my bottom on the grass when I lay in it.

caution
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
hammock itself is not very well made - had set less that a year and had to replace. But I do enjoy

Don't waste your money!
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
If you are the market for a hammock, I suspect you'd do better to pay a little bit more. I'm a bit miffed that we have to pay the $30 to ship this back (we had free super saver shipping initially) to Amazon. There are two big flaws with this product. First of all, the stand isn't stable, which means that if you don't sit on it in exactly the center spot, it will tip backward with you in it. Very dangerous for a family with kids. Second, you have to tie the hammock netting to the stand, which means that unless you can tie excellent knots, the hammock is going to sink to the ground as soon as you get into it. (We can tie excellent knots, btw, and that STILL happened time and again.) We've since researched other hammocks, and most seem to fasten the hammock to the stand with chain link, which makes a lot more sense than relying on knots.

We used the hammock for one day and the netting was already starting to space out and look too stretched. I don't think this product would last. This stand is also different than most others I've seen, and I suspect the design is flawed since it tips over so easily. We've placed an order for a different hammock elsewhere, and I hope that spending an extra $100 will mean a higher quality product that is also safer.

Very perilous for a family with kids.
Stand good, hammock not
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
Too loosely woven hammock, rope stretches too much, anyone over 150 lbs barely off the ground and resting in a VEE shape. Needs much firmer roping. The stand is good, easily assembled by a single person. Since the stand with hammocks costs about the same as a stand by itself, it's a good value for a hammock for youngsters.
