The difference with the 4 ply model consist in the size of the beam, where the 4 ply features beams of 3x3 inches while the 7 ply beams are 3x5 inches. Both feature a weight capacity of 450 lbs and the same length and width. The galvanized hardware provides superior durability and esthetic against rust versus other zinc plated items.
