    not quite what I’d hoped for

    It is as advertised simple to snap together, portable & lightweight. It’d be excellent for taking camping as long as you are rather slender. This is not so much a hammock as a tall cot. A rather narrow one at that. I reckon I’ll keep the stand but add a more sturdy feeling hammock to it and thus get closer to what I wanted. for an simple assembly stand the price is fantastic. If you were dreaming of a soft place to snuggle down and read or nap for hours perhaps not so much.
