Hammock

Has held up very well. We have had it for about two years and is still the same color has it was when we bought it. We do place it away in the winter time but sit outside all summer long.
Disappointed by Poor Quality

I owned a Pawleys Island Hammock (rope) several years ago and really liked it so when it came time to replace it (it was stolen), I went back to Pawleys again looking for another hammock. This time, but, I bought the quilted hammock because it looked more comfortable than the rope hammock and because it got some pretty excellent reviews. What a disappointment.
The first hammock I received had to be returned – right out of the box – because some of the stitching was coming apart. Thinking this was just a fluke, I questioned for a replacement. The second hammock was sent, very promptly I must say, but it also needed to be returned because some of the rope ends were coming unravelled.
I have sent the second hammock back and will be getting my money back and looking elsewhere for another hammock. Too terrible because there have been some fantastic hammock days that I’ve missed out on.
Also, although the stitching on the second hammock was not coming apart, the thread used looked very delicate and I wouldn’t be surprised if problems developed later on.

The best hammock

After quite a few years of owning a cotton, open mesh, quality hammock, the squirrels chose to chew on the many knows in the ends of the hammock. I repaired it as best as possible but you can’t win with a squirrel as your adversary.
Hence it was time to get a new hammock (not squirrel) and I bought this gorgeous quilted model. It is brilliant. After using it all summer I can easily say this is the best hammock for comfort I have ever owned. It is a gorgeous piece of work and the quilted fabric makes you reckon you are on memory foam.

I bought this as a present for my husband along with a stand. We placed it in an open patio area today with lots of sun. And apparently lots of birds. Within a few hours, there was bird poop all over it. Remarkably, much of it wiped off with a dry paper towel. And then with a wet soapy sponge the rest came off and you can’t tell it was ever dirty. And the material dried really quickly. The material is awesome!
