When I received this hammock the actual hammock part was broken. To get a new one, I had to ship the entire package back. The company could not just send a replacement net and have me send the broken one back. I also ordered the black one and they sent me green. The first time I set the frame up and used it, I really loved it. It works fantastic for those needing a hammock that can be place away easily. When I was finished, I was unfolding my hammock and noticed paint had chipped off. I investigated and it was not because somehting was rubbing on it. The metal that the paint exposed is rusted. The second time I used it, more paint chipped off. Now I am wondering how long this product will last before it rusts about and all the paint comes off. If it did not have a chipped rusted frame, I would have given it 5 stars because it is convienent.

Foldable Hammock

Very relaxing. The material used for the hammock contained a strong smell, but a few days of leaving it outside solve this issue. I found this to be the best hammock at this price range.

Awesome multiple use for a Portable Hammock

High-Grade Foldable Hammock Folding Hammock with simple backpack like carrying-bag.

Reasons to buy:

1. Way Simple- I like that I can place together in 3 minutes the first time w/ no instructions.

2. Comfy- I am a huge guy 200+ pounds and it worked for me.

3. Multi-use – I can use it for camping, beach or on my deck at home.

Reasons not to buy:

1. Despise fun

2. Dislike comfort

3. Generally miserable person who never leaves their house

I really am pleased I got this over the other portable hammocks I was considering b/c one was canvas (not breathable) and didn’t seem to have the hammock swing I was looking for.

I strongly Recommended!

Everything They Say It Is

I tested this product in my living room the day it arrived. I was able to set it up within 30-40 minutes without the aid of the instructions. Most of that time was spent separating packaging materials from end product and picking out the last few corners of plastic from metal joints. There are 3 or 4 tension settings that should suit most users. I chose the maximum tension to minimize the sag. The tough, rigid end pieces – standard components of most high-quality hammocks – keep the webbing spread evenly and prevent it from engulfing you like a pod about a string of peas. Now that it’s unpacked and ready to go in its carrying case, I would not expect it to take more than 5 minutes to deploy. I can’t yet speak for durability but it certainly looks and feels like it should last through many uses, and the nylon webbing should help to maximize the shelf life.

Just what I was looking for

The hammock was extremely simple to place together. All the legs and supports seem to be a excellent gauge of steel and well made. Place it together and attached the sling/hammock part and gave it at try. Now I was a small apprehensive as I am a petite 240#, Sat down on it and settled in and it was perfect. Rocks back and forth very easily and the mesh hammock lets a fantastic flow of air. I am 6′ and had plenty of room. Had a friend stop by for a beer and tried it out and guessed it’s price at $150 and I told him I would be pleased to get one for him and it would only be $100, he didn’t bite.

Had one issue with the hammock/sling part but it was taken care of with one email – fantastic service from RVTravelMats. The carry case also seems nice.

Certainly a huge two thumbs up – fantastic product and would recommend to a friend
