    Hard to assemble

    It looks fantastic but you will need at least two people to assemble this stand, one of whom must be quite strong. The metal is very heavy and the bolts hard to get into the holes. Also the holes on one side are too close to the center so a socket wrench can not be used on two of the four bolts. You must have a wrench to assemble this stand. Another negative: it came with the S-hooks but no chain which meant we had to go to a hardware store to buy 2 small chains.

    My Hammock stand arrived in less than a week from Texas to Hawaii. It look fantastic sitting in the yard overlooking the ocean. The box arrived in pretty terrible shape and I have my worries, but after unpacking it nothing was hurt. Highly recomend this hammock stand, it looks fantastic and is well constructed. It only took about and hour from taking it out of the box until I was taking a nice afternoon nap in it.
